OPEN THE DOOR FOR A SENSIBLE VOICE

As your neighbor and homeowner for the past 25 years, I have the privilege of calling Sterling Heights my home. Like you, I care about and am committed to the betterment of our community. Over the years I have been representing our residents at the local, county and state levels on issues that matter to all of us: sensible and practical approaches to the spending of our hard-earned tax dollars; urging our government to keep taxes low by eliminating wasteful expenditures and pressing for the best choices when making improvements where most necessary. At the same time, I have supported our safety services, senior and veteran programs as they have contributed so much to the growth and quality of life in our community. I also remain a strong advocate for parental and constitutional rights.

I have a passion to serve our city and others in need. I attend and currently volunteer at St. Mary Church. For the past 25 years, I have served as Board Member, Youth Director or Sunday School Teacher. I cared for my elderly parents and continue to assist other elderly in need by taking them to doctor appointments and grocery shopping, preparing food, gardening and providing a listening ear. I currently serve on the board of the Right to Life Northwest Macomb affiliate. I also volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and the Sterling Heights neighborhood clean up program, Pride and Shine.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and attended Oakland University certification degree program in Elementary Education. I will bring my experience as a small business owner, Human Resources professional and commitment to our city’s continued growth for the betterment of all. We all wish to ensure Sterling Heights remains a safe and great place to raise a family, to play, to work and do business.
